While there is a minimum amount of hours required to become a pilot, there is also a minimum skill-set and knowledge base that must be met.
BEGIN YOUR AVIATION ADVENTURE
The Federal Aviation Administration requires a minimum of 40 hours of total flight time, a minimum of 20 hours flying with an instructor, at least 10 hours of solo flight time, and completion of ground school course covering a long list of topics in order to become a private pilot. While there is a minimum amount of hours required, there is also a minimum skill-set and knowledge base that must be met.
Our Private Pilot Package is perfect for those who are dedicated to getting their pilot's license as timely and as cost-effectively as possible. Those who enroll in this program will receive dedicated and personalized training from our experienced instructors until they are safe, competent pilots.
We recommend that students schedule 3 lessons a week in order to keep a constant training routine. Like most things, the more often you fly, the more flying you will retain. Outside of flight lessons, those enrolled in this course must be able to attend our Private Pilot Ground Course on Monday and Thursday evenings.
